36 week update

June 14, Tuesday night, Marisa, Will and I went in for an ultrasound. We got to hear his strong heartbeat (131 beats/minute), the placenta looked good, umbilical cords flow was good, he is head down, he is practicing breathing (which is awesome), has dropped some, is going to have lots of hair. They measured his head size which is estimated at 36 weeks (50%), his femur measured to 37 weeks and his stomach is measuring 38 weeks (75%). They estimated that if he arrived on 14th he would be about 7lbs 4oz (but we were told with ultrasounds they could be a pound off in either way). So we know that we are going to have a big boy with lots of hair!

At our 36 week appointment, we found out that we have not started to dilate. My OB mentioned that if he came anytime he would be fine since he is going to be a big boy. So here is to moving and trying to get this labor process moving!
